Reset Browser Settings

The Windows HOSTS file is a text file which stores website addresses. SUBJECT OF AGREEMENT

The computer program described in the operation instructions complies with our current level of technology. LIABILITY
The license seller gives the opportunity to use the program as intended in accordance with the description of the program. The license seller shall not be responsible for compliance with the user program objectives and proper functioning of the program in conjunction with user’s software. The licensee must verify that the program meets his/her requirements.
Claims for reimbursement of damages to the license seller regardless of legal grounds, particularly due to the delay or inability, breach of duties of the administration to provide explanations and additional contractual obligations, pre-contractual obligations, positive breach of contract, breach of industrial property rights of others and unlawful acts are excluded, except for intentional or criminally negligent acts of the license seller and except for the cases when the claim for damages arises from breach of guaranteed quality.
If the license seller bears the responsibility the claim for damages shall be limited to predictable damage. In any case, reimbursement of indirect damage as loss of earnings shall be excluded. All claims to the license seller on reimbursement of damages lose their validity after one month of receipt of the Program. This condition does not apply to claims by reason of unlawful activities.

GRANT OF LICENSE

Loaris Inc. grants to you a non-exclusive right to use this software program (hereinafter referred to as the “Software”) in accordance with the terms contained in this Agreement. SCOPE OF USE

UPGRADES

If you acquired this software as an upgrade of a previous version, this Agreement replaces and supercedes any prior Agreements. You may not continue to use any prior versions of the Software, and nor may you distribute prior versions to other parties.

OWNERSHIP OF SOFTWARE

Loaris Inc. retains the copyright, title, and ownership of the Software and the written materials.
COPIES. You may make as many copies of the software as you wish, as long as you guarantee that the software can only be used on one computer in any one instance. You may not distribute copies of the Software or accompanying written materials to others.

LIMITATIONS OF USE

The licensee is strictly prohibited:
1) to make copies of the program or its components on similar or other media if it is beyond the scope of the License Agreement;
2) separate components of the program for use on more than one computer;
3) make changes to the program, translate, redesign, decompile or disassemble the program, to create other products based on it or to reproduce , translate or to modify the written material and to create products on the basis of written material;
4) to sell the program, lease or use it in any other commercial manner. This condition also applies to parts of the program.
5) to sell the program or its copies.

TRANSFERS

You may transfer the Software to another person provided that you notify Loaris Inc. of the transfer and the person to whom you transfer the Software agrees to be bound by this Agreement. You may also transfer the Software from one of your computers to another. Upon a transfer, you must remove all copies of the Software from the computer from which it was transferred. Upon a transfer to a third party you must remove the software from your computer. In no event may you transfer, assign, rent, lease, sell, or otherwise dispose of the Software on a temporary basis.

TERMINATION

This Agreement is effective until terminated. This Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from Loaris Inc. if you fail to comply with any provision of this Agreement. Upon termination you shall destroy the written materials and all copies of the Software, including modified copies, if any.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

Loaris Inc. disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and no infringement.

OTHER WARRANTIES EXCLUDED

Loaris Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, punitive or incidental damages arising from any cause even if Loaris Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Certain jurisdictions do not permit the limitation or exclusion of incidental damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
In no event will Loaris Inc. be liable for any amount greater than what you actually paid for the Software. Should any other warranties be found to exist, such warranties shall be limited in duration to 25 days following the date you install the Software.
EXPORT LAWS. You agree that you will not export the Software or documentation.
PROPERTY. This software, including its code, documentation, appearance, structure, and organization is an exclusive product of the Loaris Inc., which retains the property rights to the software, its copies, modifications, or merged parts.

THE DUTY TO TAKE THE MEASURES TO LIMIT THE DAMAGE
The licensee shall be informed that he/she must regularly (weekly as a rule) to make backup copies of files in his/her computer. Otherwise he/she violates the duty to take the measures to limit the damage. The seller license shall not be liable for resulting from this damage.
The licensee shall be informed that the program may not be used in a hazardous environment which provides trouble-free operation mode (the actions associated with high risk, such as nuclear installations, combat systems, navigation and communication systems or life support). In this case he/she violates the duty to take measures to limit the damage. The license seller shall not be liable for the damage resulting from this.

CHANGES INTO THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT AND THE CLAUSE FOR RIGHT PROTECTION
These general terms and conditions are part of the contract, even if the licensee has other license terms of the contract, and if Loaris does not refute each condition separately.

CONCLUSION
All supplements to the present agreement, including this paragraph, shall be made in writing.
If one of the articles of this agreement shall become invalid or unenforceable the validity of the remaining articles shall not be affected. Invalid or unenforceable article, if possible, should be replaced with the corresponding permissible article.

What is my Activation Code? Where can I check it?

Answer: If you already are our licensed customer and you need to know your activation code/product key for any purpose, but you don’t know where you can do it – please go to the tab Info and see the Product KEY field.

Answer: You can use one license on 1 PC. For this you need to install Loaris trojan Remover on your second PC and enter the same activation key.

Scanning

How to start scan?

Answer: Scan starts automatically after launching the program. If the scan haven’t started navigate to the Scan Tab and choose the Full scan.

Scan for threats your usb-devices

To scan the USB-device you need to open a Scan Tab and choose a Removable scan. Important,  put a USB-device before the Scan starts.

How to start Custom Scan

Answer: To scan a specific folder of your PC you need to open a Scan Tab and click on Custom scan. After that browse the folder to do a scan with Loaris Trojan Remover.

Quarantine

Removal process

After scanning the system you can ignore, delete,  move to quarantine detected files or choose a false positive. What to choose?

  1. Ignore –  you ignore this file once. The next scan will detect the file again.

 

Adding files to the Ignore List poses a very high security risk. This action requires advanced user knowledge and is only intended for specific situations

 

  1. Delete – you completely remove this file from the system.
  2. Move to quarantine –  you disinfect the file without removing it from your PC. At any time you can restore or delete it.
  3. False positive – you put this file into ignore list. The file will no longer be scanned.

Why I have to add files to quarantine?

Answer: Quarantine is a storage for suspicious files. We recommend to add files to quarantine, because it’s not always possible to determine if the file is dangerous or not. Quarantine stores  files in a special format, so they can not be a threat to your security. In any moment you can restore or delete files.

How to remove files from Quarantine?

Answer: To delete files from Quarantine you need to open a Quarantine Tab of your Loaris Trojan Remover and click on a trash can icon.

Also, you can set an autodeleting option of Quarantine. For this you need to open Settings Tab and turn on a function “Auto delete quarantined files after 30 days”. You can choose any period, that is more comfortable for you.

How to use Reset Browser Settings?

Answer: To reset your browser settings you need to:

  1. Update your signature database with Update tab of your Loaris Trojan Remover.
  1. Start Full scan with Computer Scan tab, wait the completion of the scan.
  2. Click Apply to Move to quarantine all found items, reboot your computer if Loaris Trojan Remover tells about it.
  3. Run Loaris Trojan Remover if it’s not running.
  4. Go to the Tools tab and click Reset browser settings.
  5. Confirm your choice in the Confirmation window.
  6. Reboot your PC.
  7. Open your browser and verify your problem.

How to reset Windows HOSTS file?

Answer: To remove file that stores your website addresses do a reset of Windows HOST files. For this you need to open a Tools Tab and click on “Reset Windows HOST files”.

How to reset Windows update policies?

Answer: To make sure you have an opportunity to do updates of your Windows use a function – Reset Windows Update Policies. Open a Tools Tab of your Loaris Trojan Remover and click on Reset Windows Update Policies.

How to collect system information?

Answer: To get some information about your system for investigation of your problem you can send us a collect system information. To do that. please:

Answer: Due to our agreement you can  activate the license on 1 PC. The key blocks automatically if you have more activations.

What to do if I have a false positive detection?

Answer: Please contact us with latest scan log file:

Press Log files, double click on the latest scan information, save the appeared information to file and attach this file to your response message (click on ‘choose them’ at the bottom of the ticket). If you can’t attach the file for some reasons, just copy its content to your response message.
